Did they?
Turned over to watch the golf after the 2nd goal went in.
I donât think thatâs fair. Theyâre going to fall short of the 90+ point total they were tracking for during most of the season , but mid to high 80s is still traditionally a tally that requires someone to be on fire to beat you to a title. Depending on how they do in their final 2 games theyâll possibly get a total that has only failed to win the league a small handful of times. I think the high marks are us twice getting in the 90s, Utd the year City won their first with them both being on 89, and spurs a few season ago on 86. Arsenal can still finish on 87. It will feel worse because of how many of their points came in the final quarter of the season, but over the season it is undeniably been a very good effort from them. It is only going to fail to produce a title because there is a club run by a crooked enterprise who has used that to put a run together that historically clubs who play by the rules have not been able to. That is what its taken to beat them this year.
This period of incompetency over the past 10 years or so has made lots of people forget how intolerably arrogant they were through the height of the Wenger years. Those fans have been quiet in recent years but they are still there.

Im meaning more we havenât been in around the fight at top the table its been them and City. They havenât had the distraction of having to look at the results of Liverpool or Chelsea.
Well, this âgenerationalâ Arsenal team has proved worse than the Liverpool side we have seen for the previous five years, when we were amassing more Premier League points and getting to three Champions League finals, winning one, and also picking up other trophies too.
Arsenal put their all into one fight. Itâs their level. And they were top after 33 games, Iâll give them that.
âWe will lose some players, maybe Caicedo or maybe Mac Allister. We need to bring in some other good players. For Mitoma and Estupinan, they need to stay with us I donât know if they are ready to play with big teams. You have to be ready in the head and we can offer them the chance to improve.â- Zerbi.
They are going to do the Dortmund model of buying low and selling very very high
onto tomorrow
Good luck to them, theyâre great at it especially scouting where other clubs dare not go.
Julio Enciso, Evan Ferguson and Facundo Buonanotte are all looking like superb talents too - teenagers brought in from Paraguay, Ireland and Argentina respectively.
Seasons over now. City have strolled to this title. Its not even been a real challenge for City (to be fair arsenal have done better than anyone thought they would) as they knew theyd whack arsenal at home so have never been in any danger of slipping up.
Arsenal went out of all the cups and europe early and still couldnt be a real threat to City.
Yeah good on you Brighton. Yet all I wanted you to do was beat Everton. So do us a favour next match please.
They took 13 out of 18 points on offer before Graham left for his flirtation with disaster.
There hasnât been a massive shift in the way Brighton play and they were good under Potter.
Reminds me a bit of Swansea a few years back, set up is at a higher level mind.
Decent manager walks in he would get. If Frank Lampard walked in there then no.
The biggest change with them is theyâve finally figured out how to put the ball in the net. 66 goals so far this season compared to 42, 40 and 39 under Potter.
Fantastic result for Brighton. They are really impressive to be fair, especially considering the rigged league they play in (remember that daylight robbery orchestrated by the refs and VAR during their game at Tottenham?) and will deserve their Europa League stunt next season. Well deserved.
