I don’t see it to be honest.
I’d accept them dropping points in one of these two but I don’t see it. Now’s actually a good time to play both of these sides - can’t wait for all of their best players to return from injuries and hit form exactly when they play against us!
Fell asleep for most part of the game but from what i see Fulham make Spurs work very hard for the 3 points.
Jimenez should have put that one away.
Spurs have got results but have only rarely impressed to me.
All together now, we must care for this Spursy team that’s making everyone fall in love again.
Find a way (any way) to avoid Loss or even draw against LFC - taken care of
Play 2.5 days later following the int’l break - check
Stay in London and avoid crazy travel 3 straight PL games - check
I’m watching this space as Karma will be so unforgiving to this lot.
Spurs didn’t really impress me yesterday. But I guess it’s a sign of a good side that they grind out a win anyway.
Still early days, but I think they stay in top four race until the end of the season when they’ll fxck up and finish fifth. We’re talking about Spurs after all😬
5th would likely still get them in the CL this season. The top two leagues by coefficient will be granted an extra place in the qualifying rounds starting this season. That likely means the Prem gets another slot.
So does that mean a league can get 6 places if 6th place or below wins the CL or EL?
I’m not 100% on this, but I believe 5 is the max, so if 6th or below wins the CL or EL, then 5th would lose their spot.
5 is the max if I remember reading right.
I doubt anyone bar Man City are winning the CL from the English teams, Europa could be different, let’s win it though
So it will be 36 instead of 32 teams from next season on and instead of giving direct qualification to a league champion from a smaller nation they invite 5th place from England and Spain.
Plus you play 8 of the 10 or 12 teams in your group.
All a bit shit.
You say this like England and Spain aren’t the only leagues that matter in the entire universe…
Right, I didn’t know that. So, Spurs will finish sixth😅
Don’t be ridiculous. The Saudi League also counts.

Since when did the “festive period” begin in early December?
Bloody commercialism…
Labor day is the first Monday in September in the US and marks the traditional end of summer. 4 houses on the next block over from me had their Halloween decorations up the day after
