Been saying this for a while now. I get that he washed out at Arsenal, but the structure wasn’t great there and the fanbase was completely toxic when he took over from Wenger. Emery is easily the third best manager in the league for me, he’s doing wonders at Villa and I could see him taking over that United or Chelsea after the season if he wants.
I think he’d be wise to stay at Villa, they seem to have money and he’s got a good squad there that they could build on. Expectations are very low, too, so if he got them in the CL somehow, he’d be worshipped as a God by their fans.
It has been a cracking game. Tons of chances either end. Spurs 2-1 down but they should be ahead on what I’ve seen. Postecoglu has got them playing a lovely attacking game.
On Emery, just want to agree with the above. He is a very good manager indeed.
