Quansahâs goal was ruled out because they viewed macalister to have illegally handled the ball. In this case they probably wouldnât have thought the seams for havertz so it was material whether havertz or nketiah got the last touch

Have to say, this has been one of the most interesting seasons I can recall. So many good teams and so many interesting plot twists. I canât remember sitting down and watching so many matches. Iâm thoroughly enjoying it.
And itâll be even better when we win it all!
Careful: you sound as though youâre buying into the mediaâs ânarrativeâ, er, narrative.
The season is not meant to be a soap opera, although these days it does appear to be scripted. It is supposed to be a series of standalone matches, at the end of which the most consistent team is crowned champions.
Another part of this âstorylineâ is the âGameday (or Match Week, or whatever) 16â which never used to exist in the good old days. Itâs a form of subtle brainwashing, which is why I abhor it so much in our match thread titles.

I know 'Luton at home are no pushoversâ but would be annoying if - out of Arsenal, Liverpool and City - we would be the only ones to drop points there.
