Moronic for them to be appealing now. They need an absolute vindication (on no clear grounds) to equal what they are earning on the pitch. The side is earning the chance to just put a disastrous ownership/management period cleanly behind them at the end of the season.

Howe’s management of the Newcastle squad has been dreadful of late. Flogging the same players for five or six games in a row now, even with all the injuries they have surely there are still 3 or 4 on that bench who are steady enough to afford the others some rest.
