Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

I’d be surprised if they let Howe go, top four or not. Unfortunately, they seem to be handling their “progression” to a “top club” pretty sensible so far.

That said, if Howe becomes available, Southgate surely has to go.

Forget about it, it’s not going to happen. Everyone knows that City don’t get penalised for such things.

Especially Ederson himself…

Palace has no shots on target, and just two shots. Why was I even considering watching a Hodgson side?!?

I think Rodri is probably the most important player in the squad, definitely as far as Pep is concerned.

I hope someone sticks him.

What happened?

Seems some one collapsed and the players are off while treatment is given

Lockyer has collapsed. The same player who collapsed in the play off final.

He’s been stretchered off surrounded by medics. The game was suspended.

The way he slumped and fell forward is really worrisome, I just watched the last two minutes of play and it just came out of nowhere.

He has a history of atrial fibrillation, so not quite what almost killed Muamba. But I am surprised he is still playing.

They have really, really impressed me and it is fun to see a manager showing himself to be top class like Dracula does. Everybody knew he had a good brain but his time in Arsenal was no success and in the end he became a (easy because of his bad English) scapegoat we all made fun of. Good on him for showing England and the world that he knows what he is doing and respect to him for his work.

The Bournemouth doctor has confirmed that Lockyer is alert and responsive. That sounds promising.
