Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Harsh comment on BBC?

I think Newcastle have caught the Liverpool disease. Not shooting when they should and not passing when they should.

Rumours were rif in Geordie land that they were looking at Mourinho after they lost at Luton.

He could smack someone with a shovel and not get a card.

Thatā€™s one way of setting any project back 5 years.

I would be happy enough if they got Mourinho as manager. I think heā€™s a busted flush and has been for some time. Best days long behind him.

He will want to spend money, but he has a track record of creating discord and falling out with people.

If part of Newcastleā€™s evolution is a stint with Mourinho at the helm, it will be expensive and will end in acrimony. They might win a trophy, but nothing major to show for it.

Neco hasnā€™t improved a bit since leaving.

Though it would be hilarious if he was sacked, all things considered it would be unbelievably harsh.

Till his personality grinds on players he wins thats what owners want.

Maureen is desperate to have a relationship with his fans similar to Jurgenā€¦ He might feel he will get that at Sandcastle - Might make him desperate to go there

Newcastle supporters looking to beat the traffic home?

Yeah and thatā€™s been dimishing for years. A couple of minor cup wins and the 3 year cycle is now down to two.

I assume itā€™s a project they want.

Nuno seems to have coached Forest to match Toon snide for snide

Said it ever since Newcastle got money. Mourinho will be pitching up as their manager soon. Eddie will be sacked

1600 PM games are uninspiring. I guess I hope for Luton, because itā€™s tiny Luton ?

I think they have a decent chance, Sheffield United is terrible and Luton has been playing with energy of late.

It would be a fun result. I hope Luton some how survives. It would be very good for the health of the otherwise incredibly unhealthy league.
Of course I say that as a fan of a team that would have to work very hard to go down, but circulation is good. And even big teams like Manchester United and Everton etc., would serve the league well if they went down for a year and then up again (it would also serve the glee and humour of rival fans  ).

Going with Bournemouth
