Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Didn’t look out or in.

Requires an expansion of the Hawkeye coverage and it wasn’t thought to be worth it. I think the SAOD system will achieve the same thing though if they use the version that has the chip in the ball

This is it from the images you couldn’t tell.

How does the semi automated offside thing work? They can tell if someone is offside from that and the players aren’t exactly chipped so surely it can be done to tell if a ball has crossed the line. As im not entirely sure how it works i could easily be wrong. Im guessing its some sort of 3d rendering from the images we’re shown

I think the tolerance for the width of the line are too narrow.

What a set piece

Maybe, i couldnt say for sure but they know the width of a ball etc so maybe it could be sorted in some way. Not that i care about this 1 instance but i cant help but feel we’d be a lot better off the more they can automate and take out of the hands of these idiots in black

In short, lots of fancy cameras and AI. There are currently two versions, one with a chip in the ball (fifa) and one without (uefa) and the former is considered the more sophisticated

Haha Paqueta passed to Moyes

Edit:
He’s injured

Big blow

Saka has to score.

Brighton playing with fire here, given Spurs a few clear cut chances to pull 1 back.

Joao Pedro goes down as if he’s been shot after Richarlison put his hand across his face

15 mins on the Arse game is enough for me. 90% possession match fuck that despite goal that no doubt every Arse supporter will say was out. Brighton Spurs much better to watch.

West ham are such a strange team. You don’t think of them as a side who can outplay big teams, especially with Moyes in charge, but of the few scenarios you’d map out that have them beating this arsenal side, the most likely one involves exactly that.

Bowen, pacqueta, kudus > aresenal’s very well regarded arsenal front line.

It’s shocking to watch, don’t understand how people can sit there and watch such a one sided affair (unless it’s your own side of course). Bores me to death. If (it won’t) it’s still 1-0 West Ham for 10 to play then is the time to switch over.

The chip is good for the ball but i daresay eventually they’ll be able to merge systems so it can work either way. As i said earlier, i don’t care how they do it but the more the decisions are taken out of the hands of the refs the happier i’ll be. VAR doesnt count as automated as its still being used by the same people that are making the mistakes.

Penalty I guess

Think he might touch the ball but they didn’t replay it enough to see.

Think Jesus did not scream loud enough
