I think that is down to his mediocre positioning - if there isnāt enough time to make a dive to make it look spectacular, there is not enough time to move to save it. Compare to Alisson who so often gets an arm save that is getting one step toward the line of the shot, and bracing for the impact.
Makes me laugh that they dumped De Gea

Morgan Gibbs White has been crap on set pieces someone needs to tell him.
I still cannot get over that. Forrest have the ball on the half way line with the entire utd team behind the ball. They make one semi penetrating pass out of the winger and all of a sudden they are in behind the front two lines with the defense desperately retreating back to goal when the dangerous player is still in front of him. Their entire defense just disintegrated, and from nothing.
You can criticize Onana all you like, but allowing a forward that much space to receive the ball in the box is going to be a goal more often than not even with a great keeper in goal.
