Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Football is the real winner.

Yeah? Is it?

Kalvin Phillips contribution at West Ham so far;

Give away the goal for Solanke on his debut.

Give away the goal to Garnacho for Utdā€™s second.

Dropped to the bench, comes on and picks up a booking straight away.

The West Ham crowd looks like a crowd at the Etihad at the moment.

As for Arsenal, big win to pile up the goals and make the goal difference virtually the same among the three title chasers.

Their win over us last week put wind in their sails, and we have a three way race for the title. Letā€™s see how long it stays neck and neck among the front runners.

Confused Power Rangers GIF

Burnley will give them more of a game next week. And thatā€™s the Burnley at 3-1 not the one at 1-0

Hopefully the late winner for Spurs yesterday and seeing them drop to 5th will give them a bit more incentive to play more the like Villa we saw earlier in the season but Iā€™m not holding my breath.

Some of the set piece goals conceded this weekend has been laughable.

Take a draw.

I think United are able to take advantage of a lot of their starters coming back after long layoffs, and other teamsā€™ starters getting fatigued after the busy period.

That, and Aston Villa are reverting to type. United will still get battered against us, Arse, City, etc.

Good stop Onana.

Vicious attempt by Mcginn.

Another good stop by Onana, Watkins couldā€™ve done better.

McGinn on the ball :ok_hand:
McGinn ā€œmarkingā€ Hojlund on a corner :see_no_evil::joy:

Defenders more focused on wrestling and grappling as opposed to heading the ball clear. :-1:

Villa shitting the bed and letting Spurs take their CL spot. :see_no_evil:

Always happens second half of the season. The 3rd-6th placed teams take turns shitting the bed and letting the others in.

Casemiro :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

It was a dive tbh from Cash.

Great theatrics from Casemiro there

blame Caseā€™s reputation there. Heā€™s essentially a yellow card with feet.

I said that about some other player last week, but it applies here as well.

Varane should have had a yellow for that clear charge in the back

He tried to trip him, was too slow so missed but then clipped with with standing foot

Far more deserving than Konateā€™s second last week. This did actually directly stop a promising counter opportunity and had no element of being bought by a forward realizing he was out of options but to run into a defender then throw his arms in the air
