Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

HA!

I saw this earlier today and was in hysterics!

Classic.

It speaks volumes that Evans has been one of their best players this season

Every once in awhile I get enquiries about working elsewhere. If Iā€™m serious enough to think about it, I make a column of pros and cons. And always one of the cons is ā€œmight not be able to watch Liverpoolā€ whenever I want, which I can do right now working in the States.

The game on Sunday is a must win imo. I donā€™t think a draw is as good result as it looks like. If we draw we either have to go perfect or hope City drop more points than us. And I donā€™t want to rely on other teams taking points off City because I have seen this movie before and it never ends well.

This isnā€™t entirely accurate. A draw still leaves us a point ahead of City, weā€™d just have to match their results the rest of the way, and I reckon we could manage that given our remaining fixtures.

Also - City have a brutal month here where they have to play Arsenal and I think Spurs or maybe Villa? Good chances they drop points while juggling the CL and FA Cup too. Our fixtures are a bit more forgiving, given the level of opposition.

A draw isnā€™t the end of the world, and to be honest Iā€™m not sure a loss is either, though Iā€™d feel a whole lot worse about our chances to win the league with City even just having a two point advantage over us.

A draw and Iā€™d be ok with it, a win I would be over the moon.

Loss I think we are playing catch up and I never like that. Of course if we draw Arsenal could go perfect and win on GD but it wouldnā€™t be a massive concern to me at this stage.

Must not lose rather than Must win, though we have Prague first.

He isnā€™t the best of the bunch though is he?

Possibly?

I prefer Madley personally.

Iā€™ll give this til Sheffield United concede.

In fact I never actually put it on.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

what the hell are those gooners singing? they really ripping off the Kopā€™s songs now?

Pundits going on about the professionalism of Arsenal the workrate, the hunger, thats easy they are only in 2 competitions and can easily rest between games.

This might actually be a cricket score. Arsenal looking like they did in the early part of last season when theyā€™d just waltz through teams and batter them with ease in the first half.

Arsenal honestly playing fantastic footie so far. Of course, opponent is so-so, but still. End of the season is going to be a nail biter.
