Premier League 2023/24 (Part 2)

He’s on loan from Dortmund from a quick google search.

It wasnt going that well for him at Dortmund. It was partly injuries that allowed other players to stake claims ahead of him, but the reality is Dortmund have a good number of players who can do what he does and he had not done enough to put himself ahead of them.

Hasn’t managed to get himself on the pitch much for Forrest since his January move either.

Between injuries and performance he’s making Bethalter look smarter in the World Cup. And that’s not a particularly easy task.

Ah well , Forest scores after Origi was unlucky to not score.

Forest’s set piece defending is atrocious. Oh well ruled out for handball.

This is really not a match that Luton can afford to lose, relegation straggler coming into your house and taking 3 points is how a club goes down

Im amazed brenfords manager still has a job. They are free fallin into the championship

Really good play by Robinson, no idea how Muniz completely misses the ball :man_facepalming:

Fulham playing well.

Muniz! 1-0, beautiful ball by Robinson.

Lukic 2-0, ball by Castagne this time round. Exquisite finish.

Spurs choking their way to 6th…agIn

Spurs have been shocking, bar one chance Madisson had which went just wide of the post I can’t recall a thing they’ve done in the final third. Fulham have really done a number of them this evening.

Tosin Adabayioro on a free this summer would be good business.

3-0. Turning into a hammering now.

Corner Fulham falls to Bassey whos turns and shoots, rattles off the inside of the post and falls (kindly) to Muniz who prods it in.

4-0? Yep, Raul interfering with play.

Spurs last week with their most impressive result to their worst in the space of 6 days.

Spurs have a 6 point gap to Man Utd. Will they stay ahead in the event that 5th spot opens up another CL space? I hope so. I really don’t want a crap Man Utd side getting a boost of CL football.

Let’s just hope Lille knock Villa out, Madrid and Bayern do their thing. Liverpool can beat Milan in the final and all these events playing out will be enough for that extra spot to go to Germany or Italy.

Then again there is that nob frost tinkling feeling from seeing Utd finishing bottom of their CL group.

Don’t much care.

Be nice to see Villa make it but I don’t really have much time for eithier Man Utd or Spurs and it doesn’t seem to matter they still get to sign overpriced dross every summer.

Spurs are fun to make fun of but I see no real reason to dislike them or want poorly for them, especially when the result is an opening for clubs like Newcastle or United.

Because I know three of their fans and they are insufferable.

And this isn’t opening a door for Newcastle. Fulham beating Spurs opened the chance for Newcastle to fall even further.

If…If…If LFC win the Europa, then it means we would have qualified for the CL twice over… What a blow that would be to Utd and Sandcastle if they don’t even get to qualify once.! :0)

Maybe enter two LFC teams in the CL next season!

The LFC B team would qualify for the knockouts.

The two best teams in Europe currently are playing in the Europa.

I hope it’s not Man United’s happy weekend because the Premier League results are very much going in their favour - hopefully their FA Cup game today is anything but happy for them!
