Premier League 2024/25 (Part 1)

Arsenal doing a fairly nice job of hurtling to ground.

I think of course that Arsenal will win this, but Forest still pretty lively running forward. They are of course otherwise laying deep. Arsenal pressing nicely. And there we have a very nice goal !
I have a 40 second delay here though.

That was a banger

Forest have had their season excitement it seems.

I have been disappointed by how passive they have been, they have been defending deep but not even contesting their own defensive midfield. Arsenal are a lot like City, tactically they are built to break down teams playing deep, you need to make them play some actual defence, not just chase the occasional runner.

Forest will end up getting battered now

As long as they will be battered by style, I suppose I can cope with that, watching the game and everything. Today, I just want to be entertained by some nice football. If Arsenal won 12-0, it would actually make me rather happy as it would be entertaining.
I donā€™t really think Arsenal will beat us in the league this season anyway, so might as well enjoy them murdering someone in a spectacular way. Just as long as it is spectacular. I want a circus right nowā€¦

I was hoping for a tight game, and maybe a scrappy one with Forest showing a little ugly. But Forest have clearly been coached to defend about 30 meters away from the goal, and not before. They keep backing away instead of closing down.

and then when they do get the ball, their forwards are completely isolated.

Close to 2-0 there. And yes, Arminius, Forest very shaky and suffering, not being able to cope with Arsenalā€™s passes and runs now.

Forest are absolutely fucking shite.

Up the Spursy it is.

There isnā€™t much entertaining about any team winning 12-0. Itā€™s sport itā€™s supposed to be competitive.

Saka and Odegaard looking unplayable as Forest refusing to play them. Better adjust soon.

Yes, ideally a 3-3 or 4-4 game of intense tension is the best. And like I have said many times in the past, I really enjoy good defending and can love a good 0-0 game. But today, I just want to be passive and lazy and see some great chances and goals. And there is a circus in an outlandish result and I wouldnā€™t mind a circus and some spectacle today.

But normally I would agree. Just the current mood, I suppose

May as well set a couple of cones for the Arsenal players to have to go around, make sure they get full value from this practice session.

WTF happened to the team that showed up at Anfield?

Fair enough.

Iā€™d happily take 5-4 in all these games prefably to those I want to see win :joy:

This is crazy, Arsenal is just passing the ball around inside the 18-yard box.

Iā€™d find it very entertaining if we twatted Manchester City or Man U 12-0.

I think every single Liverpool fan would  Sporting or not :smiling_imp:

I really donā€™t want to switch to the Everton game. Do something, Forest.

Ehm, Arsenal playing really fucking good, but yah; that space  A bit statuesque in their defending, Forest, this half. Currently there is no press on the Arsenal ball, so it is not as if there is a good chance of Forest catching itā€¦

Not watching but yes let me jump in to praise how wonderful Arsenal have been playing, with half their team out and whatnot.
