Nah, that is Ange being Ange. He has always had a slightly prickly relationship with journos, especially once he hasn’t built a strong sense of trust in.

Soon after Ange got appointed at Spurs, I was visiting my daughters in Sydney. My cabby and I started chatting footie and he pretty much predicted exactly what is happening to him right now(out of his depth).
Then again, Spurs are a uniquely poisoned chalice. Delusions of being an elite club without any of the practical trappings on the ground (except maybe the new stadium)

He needs to be given some time. But he also needs to adapt too. His style of football burns his players out and causes injuries.
