Wolves 0-0 Man Utd

Kobbie Mainoo scored an injury-time winner in an epic 4-3 triumph for Manchester United in the corresponding fixture last season.

It was part of a stellar breakthrough campaign for Mainoo, which carried him into the England squad at Euro 2024.

The youngster is finding it a bit harder this time around.

Injuries haven’t helped but mistakes are starting to be noticed more and weaknesses in his game are being exploited.

Mainoo is still only 19 and has plenty of time to learn. It is a sign of weakness at Manchester United the club have relied on him so much.

Have we been linked with him ?

Id want him

Sudden elevation to England starter for a while and Man U starts have gone to his head and he doesn’t seem to be learning from mistakes.

Not by any reliable links, but a few on here have mentioned him, but playing off the left isn’t an area we need strengthening

Jose wtf are you doing!

That was quite a tidy dribble he did there.

Ratface with a card. Perfect

This Cunha would look nice in our new adidas kit, which I would then purchase

Free kicks should be allowed to be taken straight away. Otherwise the defence can get set and they accomplish what the aim of the foul was in the first place.

Premier League Match Centre offered a succinct explanation of what had transpired in Taylor’s decision-making. Despite Duran’s surprise, there was little uncertainty in his punishment from officials.

Their statement read: “The referee issued a red card to Durán for violent conduct. The VAR checked and confirmed the referee’s call.”

Pat Nevin on BBC 5 Live was surprised by the decision. The former Chelsea star believed it was tough to ascertain intent but admitted replays looked poor for Duran.

“How you can know there’s intent? I don’t really know,” he said. There seems to be a second move from Jhon Duran who almost hits Fabian Schar with his boot. On slow motion it looks dreadful. Duran is furious."

The drama did not end there however as Newcastle assistant coach Jason Tindall and a Villa analyst were also given their marching orders during the break after an interaction in the tunnel. Neither returned to the dugouts following half-time.

I hope that Tindall guy got knocked-out - horrible fucker

But they have to be taken from the right place

Never a yellow, seems Bruno’s girly scream influenced the ref

Unless it’s near the box, how much of a difference does it make if you steal a few yards? It’s already done on throw ins. And “exact” spot if the foul itself is subjective

What’s far more important is whether the foul call is correct or not (foul/fair challenge)

Bruno’s cartwheels are apparently convincing

That was 15 yards from where the foul was tut tut.

I am a massive fan of quick free kicks as a player and fan
