Obvious foul on Flekken, holding his arm down as he comes out but once again referees in this league are too weak to call them.
VAR didn’t even check.

Yep the player blocking was in motion using both arms to prevent him getting cleanly to the ball
3-1

Push on Collins not penalised?
I only just got back from taking the dog for a half time walk

Merino is dirty cunt. 100% Arteta player.
Minor foul on Flekken for second goal, but I still want him to be stronger and punch that clear. Not good. Third goes in, game over. I expect Arsenal to add another one or two now.
All of a sudden my interest in this one has massively waned.
I will now focus on a lovely New Year’s Day roast dinner, before work and normal life resumes again tomorrow.
This would be 1-0 if Brentford would know how to clear a ball out of their own box.
FFS @Limiescouse
Not particularly talking about this game but Thomas Frank gets an awful lot of praise for a guy who has Brentford consistently in exactly where you would expect them to be based on the quality they have.
Amazed they are scrutinizing this one so much more than the second
You stick when we need you to twist, twist when we need you to stick.
FFS…lift!

Have zero idea who these are…which one plays for which team lol
The former is @GermanRed’s favourite vegetable.
At least it’s better than Ifti’s.
“Sensational delivery from Raya” to set Martinelli away on a quick break.
See, that’s what he’s in the team for, not this boring goalkeeping bit
Have you ever had both in a korma though…
Well done la
Flekken is crap but that was more than a minor foul. His arms are held down by Saliba - we know the gameplan with Arsenal… they hold and crowd the goalkeeper until the ball is delivered then all let go as if that makes it ok. It stops the GK having any momentum or a chance to claim their space.
If the GK tries to push the player away then they exagerrate the contact and try and claim a penalty. Its cheating.
Then you see them defend corners and they are crying about any contact at all on them.
In a way I guess you have to praise the way they will win by any method but on the otherhand its a bit embarrassing that a squad as expensively assembled as this has to cheat on every set play.
Referees need to wise up and start giving the fouls. Its not even subtle.
