It hit him from a yard away with his hand down by his side. If we routinely gave those as handball there would be outrage at refs not understanding the game

The handball was decisive in the goal. It should have been called ever before it got to a goal
We used to have that rule and people ducking hated it saying it was unfair

You have referees on the field to call fouls as they happen not wait for VAR
Our referees point blank don’t know how to officiate games.

Spurs just continue to shoot themselves in the foot. Both goals came from giving the ball away in their own third. One when they were hopelessly unready to play out and the other from a throw in.
Dejan Dragusin is atrocious, you get the inkling there’s a howler in him anytime the ball goes near him.

Not only his first Tottenham start - his first appearance of any kind (including youth football) since one U21 game in 2022.
His first senior appearance since making 5 appearances for Orlando City in 2021.

It is actually sort of refreshing to see a player who has gone down clutching his face really has been smashed in the face. Unintentional, but a nasty shoulder to the nose.
