Premier League 2024/25 (Part 1)

That dive :joy: he launched himself into the air like he was making fun of someone else for being a diver

This game is weird. Spurs have 1 man in midfield, rice is somehow playing further forward than Trossard. He just smacked a shot from the edge of the box the keeper saved with his chest. And if Spurs lose they could be behind Utd by the weekend

Richarlison still plays football?

Let’s hope we see that pigeon dance in a few minutes!

Solanke stealing a living.

Offers absolutely nothing.

No thanks. Rather Arsenal won.

Arteta really brought on Tierney? Playing double full backs?

Christ, that club used to value the quality of the football.

Celebrating like he just won a trophy for doing what exactly?

Arteta doesn’t know he’s a fullback. He only found out he was even an arsenal player last week when he found him in the cupboard he’d been locked in for the past 3 years.

There’s far too much emotion around Arsenal under Arteta. They love it in the moment but we know all too well that when you pump that much emotion into a marathon season then it will eventually fizzle out.

They’re a good team. Goalkeeper is wank.

So the final whistle confirms it. Our dip in form over the last 5 weeks has cost us a grand total of 2 points from the team that is likely to be our biggest challenger. Can’t say i’m overly worried just yet

Poor effort by Spurs, losing 2-1 to your local rivals with 2 minutes to go and they’re playing 5 yard passes between the GK and LB.

Hate the narrative that they’ve ā€œcut the gap to 4 pointsā€. That’s only true if we lose at Goodison Park.

Anyway I never expected this league to be a procession. Both us and Arsenal will drop points before the season ends.

I’d be worried if I was an Arsenal fan. They’ve got a potentially 7pt gap to close but they’re reliant on set-pieces for creating chances and that won’t alaays be effective. I can picture quite a few teams doing ā€œa jobā€ on them.

Arsenal are crap. Just awful to watch. Shit tactics. Shit manager.

It’s funny that their supporters earlier in the season were wondering if Liverpool were good enough.

Peacock host just said that Arsenal are amazing for winning with all the injuries they have.

Upon further inspection that have 1 first team starter out injured. Arguably two if you count Calafiori, who has barely played anyway :joy:

And funniest part is that they the team they are ā€œamazingā€ for beating is a Spurs team absolutely decimated by injury. Arsenal didn’t have Saka - Spurs don’t have their GK, thier first second and fourth choice CB, LB and first choice CM lol.

What a fucking gravy train being a pundit is…

You can literally dribble absolute nonsense and everyone just nods and smiles.
