Thereās far too much emotion around Arsenal under Arteta. They love it in the moment but we know all too well that when you pump that much emotion into a marathon season then it will eventually fizzle out.

So the final whistle confirms it. Our dip in form over the last 5 weeks has cost us a grand total of 2 points from the team that is likely to be our biggest challenger. Canāt say iām overly worried just yet

Poor effort by Spurs, losing 2-1 to your local rivals with 2 minutes to go and theyāre playing 5 yard passes between the GK and LB.
Hate the narrative that theyāve ācut the gap to 4 pointsā. Thatās only true if we lose at Goodison Park.
Anyway I never expected this league to be a procession. Both us and Arsenal will drop points before the season ends.
Iād be worried if I was an Arsenal fan. Theyāve got a potentially 7pt gap to close but theyāre reliant on set-pieces for creating chances and that wonāt alaays be effective. I can picture quite a few teams doing āa jobā on them.

Peacock host just said that Arsenal are amazing for winning with all the injuries they have.
Upon further inspection that have 1 first team starter out injured. Arguably two if you count Calafiori, who has barely played anyway 
And funniest part is that they the team they are āamazingā for beating is a Spurs team absolutely decimated by injury. Arsenal didnāt have Saka - Spurs donāt have their GK, thier first second and fourth choice CB, LB and first choice CM lol.

Annoying to find Arsenal a touch closer, knowing fine well that the Merseyside derby isnāt a given three points.
Suits the media to have a premier league title race narrative, which they will rinse hard.
Feel like weāve said it for the last few, but Brentford away feels like a must win. Fail there and the buffer could get a bit thin and likely cause a meltdown (iāll remain calm).
Iām still confident that we have the sqaud quality and depth over Arsenal, who i genuinely see as our only rival. As others have said, their footy, a war if attrition, is unlikey to carry them to the title.
Newcastle are the other in form team, but without European football, you expect that with the sqaud they have. They look a dead cert to qualify for european footy next year and i suspect they will struggle a bit again, but also strengthen given their endless riches. Unfortunately, it wonāt be more than a few years until they are genuine challengers.
Thereās a title to be wonā¦and we are rightly favourites.

its harsh, theyāre doing the best they can with the level of intelligence they have, trying to do the right thing by the football community and impart what knowledge they have about the game to the viewer, make it entertaining as they can with thier unique type of humourā¦and ultimately, they have to keep talking, even though deep down they know they have run out of stuff to talk about
