Be right over.

This Ange interview is difficult to watch. He hasn’t been able to eye the camera even once.

Nunes is a defender because other full backs haven’t worked out? But there will be more?

Weird pair of stats that illustrate how poor the top 4 challengers have been

  • Ipswich have taken as many points at City have over the last 12 games
  • Yet city can go back into 4th today on GD with a big enough win

I wonder if he was on Scarborough warning before game.

I had to google that phrase. Live and learn!

Haaland misses a 1 on 1.

Keeper stands tall and makes a good stop, but it was right at him.

Darwin would’ve buried that.

Darwin would’ve also buried that 1 Kovacic blazed intow row Z.

I think he also scores the 1 which Delap made a meal out of earlier, boy could’ve had a hattrick today.

It was on OneFootball app for a while. Though they are still on a winter break.

I do think the change of CL format has pretty much ended them.

Anyhow always wondered the thought process of showing these ties at this time. At least Liverpool will try and beat themselves.

I know all teams have to have a certain amount of games on TV but you could shove this at the 2pm slot when people are doing stuff and the shops are open.

Football can be a funny game.

City’s steady return to stability IMO is in significant part from the role of Matheus Nunes in the hybrid RB position.

I still expect them to be our main challenge

Didn’t they throw a 2-0 lead against Brentford away last week?

Would say their return to stability or down to better results in this case was playing two of the bottom 3 and Westham.

The other results are the draw against Brentford, a draw against Everton and a loss to Man Utd.

Chelsea
Arsenal
Newcastle

Are the next three, Chelsea have hit a patch but if they win those 3 I’ll probably suggest they are back in form.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a top-flight team defend as badly as Ipswich in that half. Literally standing off the City players and allowing them to pick their spot.
If they do the same next week we should be good for 6 or 7 but of course they’ll put a shift in against us, bodies on the line and all that.
As for Forest their next 6 are fucking brutal and I’ll be amazed if they are still top 4 after it. Bournemouth, Newcastle and Fulham away, Brighton, City and Arsenal at home.
