Premier League 2024/25 (Part 1)

Nope

Mathematically not even close.

I’m not talking mathematically. Get 9 (at least) from those and Arsenal will be disappearing in our rear view mirror with the fixtures they’ve got coming up. City could still yet prove to be our closest challengers , so it would be nice to go there still streets ahead.

I’d rather not count those chickens before they hatch.

Sorry, just enjoy the ride at the moment we need to win 14.

T’has to be said though, McKenna is the epitome of the ambitious upstart manager who gets a sudden flight of fancy and sets up his team well beyond their station.
Watch them return to the bunker at Anfield

Yeah I’m glad it’s at Anfield we might need them crowd to put them on edge.

I don’t think they are trying to do anything they weren’t doing in the Championship. Much like Southampton, they are in some ways a likeable team trying to play a decent genre of football - they just don’t have the horses for it.

I suspect that they will prove the opposite at Anfield

Insert the clichƩ about it being their cup final.

Cynically my mind went towards how much Ipswich might have been paid to let Cheaty get there…

Tomorrow morning he will be the first managerial casualty this year, Levy was furiously scribbling on his notepad in the stands.

I expect that will be the bottom 3, Wolves look slightly better since the change of manager. Leicester and Soton look no different.

I am hoping that winning 12 games and drawing one will be enough to win it?
Keep fingers crossed.

I will be able to relax if we have a 10 point lead with 12 games to go.

Not sure if possible…

Wolves to go down with a continuous run of seventeen 3-0 losses, @Sweeting calling for them to win each week.
