Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

Dorgu!!

Grogu might be a decent PL player if he used The Force judiciously. Technically, he could affect the match from the bench!

They will win the Europa Conference League so they have the Europa League to look forward to.

When it became 5 teams I think City missing out was unlikely,

Anyone else think the Geordies might be in the title conversation next season (if Isak stays)? They’ll have to tighten up defensively and be much more consistent, but they’ve got some seriously threatening players. Looked v good today, albeit against the worst Manc side in decades.

Thing that gets me is they they struggled when they moved to two games a week. They are a little hamstrung by fair play and really I assume are relying on Man City getting off lightly.

Man Utd could have been 2-1 at half time even though Newcastle had started bright.

Also that drop off of form between the quarters and final of the league cup seems rather odd for me.

Quite a few players I’d completely forgotten about on that list. And a couple I’d never even heard of!

Sun Jhai . FIFA 98 legend, when City used to be a proper club.

Seems like some of them are listed based on their second nationality. For example, Dahoud played for Germany and has dual nationality.

Jeez I thought that was the latest tariff list :person_facepalming:t2:

I’m not sure about Huijsen, he looks like a lanky streak of piss.

He also looks like my ex from 15 years back so maybe that’s it*

*and I say looks like the guys a double.

Lucky boy Huijsen there, it’s a no from me. Reminds me of a Danny Agger.

Kerkez on the other hand, absolutely.

Yeah Kerkez has looked sharp here.

It’s a bit odd how Fulham are toothless when you don’t pass the ball to them in dangerous areas.

Not sure what you’re seeing.

Gone from RCB to LCB in just this game. Can play on the front foot, hold the line, control the game from deep and can break lines from central defence when needed.

A real talent for sure..

Ever heard of the world cup winning center back Fulvio Collovati?

Wiry as fvck but one of the meanest and toughest to play that position.

A centerback doesn’t have to be the stereotypical Big, burly British…
