Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

Could you please translate it into strine for us poor down unders?

Spelled out this time. Wasn’t at all what I understood from your previous post. Which was dubiously phrased.

Oh, I don’t bother with transfer ‘nonsense’ anymore. Far too much ‘rubbish’ read into such things. I only watch Liverpool so couldn’t even have told you who Chiesa was before he arrived.

I find that a bit petty considering how horrible both Shitty and Chelsea are. I come down in favour of Chelsea here just because it would amuse me more. Oh and Shitty are still a bigger rival than Chelsea ATM.

Edit: Just reread your previous post and it does make more sense now. Seemed back to front last time I read it 4 times. :joy:

Strewth mate! Fuck that Blue mob of stuck up Poms. Tryin to nick our blokes? Buncha limp wristed cry baby latte drinkers! Fuckem I say, hope they fall into a billabong fulla crocs!

Hmmm… Sounds more ‘strayan’ than ‘strine’. May need to stay longer and really imbibe the local vernacular and stop flitting back to Germany

I’m at Manchester airport T3, so obviously in a nervous state of mind.

I’d question the intelligence and motivation of any player who still goes there.

Premier League champions, or Chelsea? Hmm…

Was a good effort, but.

Strangely, not all players are Liverpool fans. They might be motivated by a number of factors; money, playing time, location, where their girlfriend wants to live etc etc.
Lack of CL football would just be one disincentive.

I didn’t say they had to be for this to still be true. We’re talking about a basket-case of a club that had a 45 player squad in the summer.

Compared to a club that just went through a transition that resulted in winning the title, has a relatively young core to build on, and in the cause of Huijsen, an obvious gap opening up within a couple of years.

I’d say lifestyle decision aside, it’s quite straightforward. I accept that it would be different if the positions were reversed, and Chelsea were the presumptive champions while we were struggling to make the Champions League, but in this case, it’s fairly obvious.

If the players agent had more interest in himself, rather than the player they represent… surely he would nudge said player to a disjointed club that had a history of messing about with the players career trajectory… that way, another transfer move would happen in 2-3yrs… Whereas, if they sign for LFC, likelihood is their career would last 6-8yrs before another transfer move happens… Although, we all know agents do not think about themselves at all during negotiations eh :0)

Southampton trying their best to match Derby’s point total.

Luckily they have Leicester next and they only bother playing against anyone in the top 2.

Sweet hit from Semenyo as the ball sat up perfectly for him to smash first time. Utd trying to play out from the back and Dorgu being mugged off the ball. Hilarious.

Special goal from Bournemouth. Pressured utd to turn the ball over in their own third, then turned it into a shooting opportunity immediately after a clever lay off from evanilson

I think today resonates to everyone who has lost someone who loved life, lived life, and loved the reds…

Great finish by Penandes, even the corner flag wasn’t worried.
