Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

I see we are discussing the relegation race.

Sadly not

Is Vardy the new Darwin…or vice versa…

It took Arsenal til the 80th minute to get to this stage a week back.

So perhaps…

Ruud has to keep them up to keep his job, but I can’t see it. Players just don’t look arsed which means they’re probably not listening to him in training. Either that or he’s fucking shit, but either way they look dire.

Lost their last 6 at home without scoring a single goal, imagine that’s some sort of record.

Just seemed like they had lost before the first goal and once that went in that was that.

All the more surprising that Arsenal didn’t post a cricket score.

I was in Madrid for business this week. Last time I was in Madrid for business, we won the title.

I’m not saying those things are related.

But I’m not saying they’re not either.

That’s surprising.

I would have thought Derby County in their 07/08 season would have had that record

United :rofl::rofl:

There’s no way they can disallow this.

They were absolutely desperate to find something there.

I was just about to write that I think Everton has a good chance in this game and that there is a decent chance Manchester United will finish this round at 16, or if really unlucky, even 17th place.

It’s a decent escape from real life problems so far, this game.

Interesting trivia:

Everton is at -3 goal difference.

Manchester United is, currently, at -8.

Casemiro and Ugarte is a disaster pairing, neither up for a fight. Both far too slow to react to get anywhere near 2nd balls.

Have we ever had a Liverpudlian corner or some other set piece? I ask because of this idiot commentator referring to ā€œEvertonianā€ corners and set pieces. Do their set pieces have an inherent Everton bias?

Taxi for Amorim

Just look at Harry Maguire, done 3 times in 1 move. Worst signing in football history.

Liverpudlian is far more a word salad though.
Evertonian rolls of the tongue. I think there is nothing more to it. Besides, Everton is driving the game against Manchester United. It would be an odd commentator that was not enthusiastic given the recent history of both clubs.

I do enjoy listening to Ali McCoist. Best of the bunch…
