Strictly speaking, a Liverpudlian is a native of the city of Liverpool. Evertonian only refers to a supporter of Everton.

However I doubt any Evertonian scousers would ever refer to themselves as Liverpudlians. Scouser seems to be the commonly used adjective now.

It’s interesting, isn’t it ? One of his main strenghts used to be his power and heading. Utterly defeated there.

Amorim is going to go down as the worst hire in the history of football.

Or the best, depending on how funny we all find it.

Ugarte is very lucky to escape a card for that tackle.

You know, the way Moyes has come in and taken a motley collection of underperforming talent, just found a way to get them playing solidly together and quietly begun stringing together decent results without needing some major reset or huge transfer expenditure, maybe ManU should look at hiring him?

You amuse today, sir.

“Zirkzee leading the charge”

Better off throwing in the towel.

Manchester United has fallen so far that it has become Political Science:

The best thing about all this is that everyone with functioning eyes can see that Amorim is completely out of his depth and his system is never going to work in the PL, but United literally can’t afford to sack him or they’ll be looking at a points deduction unless they sell multiple players. You just absolutely fucking love to see it.

I - like many others - spent years telling my manc supporting mates that all of their bad decisions and bad transfer dealings were going to come home to roost at some point, and the arrogant fucks all laughed and said they make plenty of money so they’ll always be able to spend billions with no repercussions.

My how the turn tables…

& here was me thinking Utd were back after beating the mighty Rangers.

I don’t think I have ever seen a manager look as depressed as Amorim looked just then as the players were coming out. Like he was thinking “Oh, my God. Another 45 minutes in this job.”

Commentator just referred to the ManU break that was caught around the halfline as the ‘Red Arrows’

De ligt is a delight alright. What a player.

Ferguson had the look of someone who has found something sticky on his shoe that he doesn’t want to touch with his hand

That was damn close to a third!
