Premier League 2024/25

We dropped points in godawful conditions against a fierce rival that always plays hard at Anfield. Not much of a wobble, and I am not particularly worried about it starting a poor run. That is not to take away from the importance of the Forest match, but I cannot think Forest are particularly pleased to see LFC coming off a draw either.

Like if we had struggled in other games Iā€™d accept it but we never looked like losing two and one we stepped up and won.

Iā€™ll take that as a wobble

Wolves will start the Forest slip to mid table today.

As Forest score in the 6th.

I recall making a similar prediction at this time of the year that Leicester would fall to mid table in 2016.

Leicester were ahead of everyone else I believe.

Anyhow Wolves new manager bounce is over.

Wolves have responded well since going 1:0 down

Iā€™m not sure that Forest can really build an attack but we will have to be really careful about their counter-attacks - theyā€™re very fast and break well.

How is Sels doing this?

Hoe does Strand Larsen not have 2 goals already?

No handball for me either. Good play by Aina.

Which is true and remarkable given the immobile Chris Wood is up front

Starting to worry about Forestā€¦

1 simple punt from Sels and 5 seconds later Wood has a tap in, Wolves are going to get relegated.

Nah no they wonā€™t their are worst sides.

Sounds like my holidayā€¦errā€¦ā€˜wobbleā€™ā€¦

Nuno seems to work well with those players (he just scored as Iā€™m typing). Raul Jiminez was excellent under Nuno too.

Forest are crazy dangerous - Hudson-Odoi and Elanga both passed over by ā€œbigā€ clubs in favour of players not as good as them - ripping the league apart this year.

Wolves should have had two goals themselves here though, this scoreline just shows what a great counter-attack Forest have - and the weaknesses in Wolves defence.

Theyā€™ve been the better side but Forest have taken their moments well. Wolves are a good team (need a new goalkeeper though, Sa is terrible).

Whatever Forest are, good.

Let the rest of the shit-trucks worry about them.

Hmm.

Southampton yes, Leicester too.

Canā€™t see any other team being sucked into it besides Ipswich and Wolves, Everton and their annual immunity. They have a better squad than Ipswich but Ipswich are playing with more belief, better structured as a team to be resilient and well drilled. What on earth is that goal from Wood? Youā€™d be furious to see that at youth level.

Ipswich hadnā€™t won at home til two weeks ago.

Anyhow Nottingham Forest to win the league got it.

Maybe the fact so many of you lost all sense of realisation and bigged up cricket scores this past week has spent you into being well a bit over dramatic.

If Trent does play against Forest, he better cut out all those errant passes because Forest literally lie in wait for one loose ball and break on the opposition. It almost looks like they have someone free in their defensive setup looking to intercept a pass to set them off. If he fails, no bother because there is plenty of cover behind him.

Yeah they are certainly a team you play Bradley against.

I honestly hope Forest hold on for a top four finish.

Nuno has worked wonders there; were it not for Arneā€™s superb (so far) debut season, heā€™d be a shoo-in for manager of the season honours.
