Premier League 2025/26 (Part 1)

Didn’t think it was a booking personally.

I’m not convinced that was a yellow card. The ball was there to be won and the goalkeeper made the most of it.

Totally true in this case though. Ball was loose. I would have been furious if one of ours had pulled out.

I’d have been fine with Sanchez getting sent off for his silly rolling around.

Can you imagine Garnacho and Cole Palmer organising a double Blind Date with a couple of ‘Stunners’…
Poor girls would run for the hills after being met by them two ugly fuckers :0)

Wenger’s Arsenal sides were phemenonally difficult to beat when down to 10 men. They used some of their preparation time to train being a man down.

So Arteta has just given the rest of the league the blueprints for how to beat them. Get a man sent off as they won’t have prepared for it.

That was mostly because they had Viera in their team and knew he had a fair to good chance of getting sent off

Give me strength.

I did find it odd how average they looked, Chelsea certainly didn’t look like the side down to 10 men. They absolutely smashed at the door against Man City a few months back but this wasn’t great.

They will win the title because they are bullies but it’s awful to watch.

What an idiotic behaviour from Paqueta yesterday. And he’s one of their best/most experienced players. Is he trying to force a move in January, having failed to move a few times near the window’s closure? Pathetic if so.

Always found him a little bit overrated also. Great final ball quality and variety, maybe he’s frustrated that he’s still at West Ham these days, but you gotta be more professinal than that.

Brazil made a big mistake at WC22 when they forced him as a double-pivot alongside Casemiro, mostly behind Neymar central. Just not a good combination. Guimaraes should’ve played much more.
