That’s going a bit too far haha
Leeds 6 clear with 6 left to play. You look at Spurs’ remaining fixtures and its easy to see them not winning any of them, so this might now be enough for Leeds.
They got better once they went down to 10, Leeds probably lost it a bit but hang on.
They deserved nothing.
Pretty good last 72hrs of football I’d say.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Utd finish 6th. They’re garbage and their entire route to goal revolves around Bruno getting the ball and playing all kinds of lofted balls into the box from various angles.
Oh and I noticed this week a claim that Carrick was likely to get it full time so you knew that was coming.
The more people started whispering about Carrick needing to be considered for the job on a permanent basis the more likely a blow up like this was coming.
Edit: As matty said
Just want to make sure… we still allowed to pull hair during sex?
Spurs are at Leeds May 11, though Leeds might well be secure by then. Leeds also face West Ham on the last day, so these 3 points really could be critical
If Spurs don’t get something against Wolves on the last weekend of the month, I think they are likely screwed.
It’s a 3 points they probably didn’t have on their list and probably allows for draws elsewhere.
Lovely win for Leeds. Really helps them as a little gap has opened up to the relegation spots now. At our end of the table it possibly brings third into view, assuming we squint enough and imagine we will focus and play well enough in some tough games to come.
That was fun. Amazing that the Mancs had over 3 weeks to rest and prepare for that game against Leeds, and that was what they had on offer. The pundits have been singing Man Utd’s praises all season, without mentioning that they have been one of the teams, in all leagues, to play the fewest games this year; out of the cups early, no European football. Yeah, real winners this lot.
Last five games they’ve been as good as us ![]()
I shouldn’t but I cannot stop laughing!
Maguire did indeed have that extra game suspension confirmed today
Thought that was Shawn Michaels for a minute.
Coventry City are back in the PL.
To be fair to Frank who has been underwhelming elsewhere he has done a good job there.
It’s weird, because I remember Coventry always being in Division 1. Usually just above the relegation places. The Premier League seemed to finish them off. It’s nice to see them back.
Too early for me but I remember David James jumping over a ball against Coventry.
Considering what they’ve been through It’s good to see.
Could someone perhaps tell me a little about Coventry? I’d be very grateful, as I unfortunately don’t know it at all. Thanks in advance ![]()
Edit
I love these stories in football. Returning after 25 years is amazing.
