He had hold of his arm…couldn’t have been more obvious..for once VAR was spot on.
I seem to remember Alisson getting visibly impeded for one of the goals in a 3-2 loss against West Ham in 21/22. We lost the title by one point.

Don’t like it, as they are the worst, but it was a foul as was Rice holding Mavropanos.

He was - one player was blocking him with his arm, the other was pulling his shirt. I would have been up in arms had Liverpool been denied the title by allowing that goal.
That said, the consistency with which this sort of decision is applied is what bothers me - I’m pretty sure at least two such goals were allowed against Liverpool when Alisson was clearly fouled on a corner by the opposition player (one was Dyche’s Burnley at Anfield, can’t remember which season, though).

It was a foul on Raya. At the same time, Arsenal were committing two other fouls on West Ham players on the same corner. And Arsenal have been fouling teams all season from set pieces.
So it grates.

I think someone should make a compilation of all Arses set piece goals and count how many of those were from holding the goalie or impeding him.

Cheers at least this has distracted us from our teams woes.
At 6.50 onwards in this video, there is acknowledgement and then chuckles about the fact Rice crosses the frame ‘spooning’ a WHU player.
I’ve already said I want Arsenal to stop Cheaty winning the league, so you could say I got what I wanted. But the absolute state of PL refereeing and punditry…

And Bluemoon is now full of examples of how, over the years, the PL referees have done their best to cheat them. 
Apparently they have won their titles despite this blatant corruption.

Arsenal winning the league once a decade is good for the league. City winning almost every year is pure poison for the league.
I don’t understand people who get upset over Arsenal fans being able to celebrate. It’s rare they do. City do it all the time. Arsenal once a blue moon should be just written down on the solidarity account. No big deal, good for them and they deserve it having been close but failed before. Shame about their entertainment value, but no worse than us playing.
I am way more worried about our team.
