Brentford equaliser 2-2
Palace brought it upon itself to get into such a shamble for the last 5 minutes.
Woeful coverage, showing a lame VAR shout when they scored
DCL get in
Leeds 1 Brighton 0 deep in injury time.
That should be Brighton done. Just need City to do us a favour on Tuesday.
Yes!

Wow, how did Thiago missed that. Palace got away with one right there.
I think that was actually a partial block, and should have been a corner.
How much time is Oliver going to add on at Elland Road ffs.
Weāre at 12mins now.
And breathe!
Could Alonsoās Chelsea not be in Europe at all next season?
Everton lost 3-1. I managed a slight smirk.
Consider how much worse than it is of this Liverpool side ![]()
Anyhow just Bournemouth left.
So if City win, weāll be mathematically sure of top 5 right?
Iām sure thereās a way we will somehow manage to get -1 point in the final game though.
For those who expect Brentford to beat us:
We are 4 points ahead of Bournemouth and our GD is +6 better atm.
They play City at home on Tuesday and travel to Forest on Sunday.
So worst case scenario we can afford would be something like
Bournemouth vs City 1-1
Liverpool vs Brentford 0-1
Forest vs Bournemouth 0-4
I doubt GD will be an issue here.
I think if Bournemouth draw that would be enough and if it isnāt then that should end any notion of Slot staying. Sadly it wouldnāt. As they are my second team and we are going into next season with more of the same (considering news of getting extra staff in, which in itself is totally baffling) then I couldnāt care less if we donāt make it. Weād still be crap. He needs to go for it to be anything more.
Slot just said āHold my beer ā¦ā
If we finish 5th do we have to play a knock out round then before the CL starts proper?
Villa wins the EL on Wednesday.
We beat Brentford.
City beats Villa.
That would mean 6th place in the League would also qualify for CL. And as things stand thatās still possible for Bournemouth, Brighton and Chelsea.
Right?
The only way for a sixth team in CL is if Villa wins EL AND finish 5th.
