First again! Has this ever happened in the history of this forum?

Is it a good thing to always come first?

I’ve been struggling to convince people it is. I suppose its contextual…

It absolutely is, don’t let jealous people tell you otherwise.

Looking grim for the Hammers now. Leeds hasn’t rolled over for Spurs, but there is a reason why they are down in the same range of the table.

Nuno the master of concealed retreat. Was also seen in Kabul, 2021.

If the are consistent VAR should give the pen to Leeds

Millwall ain’t coming up anyhow

Could easily have been a card as well

They will be playing at least one big London side next season anyway

is this even football?

I still think Spurs will escape but they are playing a bit Liverpoolish. Not exactly enthralling with so much on the line.

The single point for this draw really cuts down the number of possible outcomes over the last 2 matches the 2 sides play that see them going down - a late Leeds goal would really hurt.

edit: Leeds could have two in the last minute or so!

They are adding so much time as the same situation as yesterday might happen where spuds are allowed more time to nick a win.

Where did they get the 17 minutes extra time Fromm?

The win would have been big, but the draw means one more draw cancels out a West Ham win (goal difference just too big).

Spurs are safe

A reminder that this has not only been the most farcical season in terms of the holding and off the ball shit that has been allowed, but it has occured in the context of this directive

New guidance on how to deal with holding has been shared with referees by Professional Game Match Officials (PGMO), with the aim of cutting the number of incidents where a player’s movement is impeded by an opponent. It follows consultation with club officials and leading players who all complained about the practice.

Oh my days, I am reading some Dale Johnson’s explanations (no, defenses) of the officiating on the disallowed west ham goal its a textbook example of how disconnected “rule knowers” are from “ball knowers”. It has been pointed out to him that Trossard is not even facing the ball and by his body position has demonstrated his only consideration is in impeding Pablo. People are pointing out the absurdity oif penalizing a player who himself is in the process of being fouled. Dale has responded to that by saying that because Pablo made so much progress despite being a bear hug, essentially dragging Trossard into the mele, it is proof that he was not impeded and is therefore an incident that is not punishable with a foul.

We’re fooked

Oliver Glasner just delivered one of the coldest press conference responses of the season

Reporter asked him about the title race and whether Palace could influence it…

Glasner replied:

“I checked my pay slips… I didn’t get any money from Arsenal or City.”

Then he finished with THIS:

“Our influence in the title race is definitely less than VAR.”
