Maybe too much practice at playing against 10 after last week’s learnings???

That’s crap from Zubimendi, ha ha.

Arsenal might win the title but no one can fool me to believe that they are as good as the Klopp/Pep teams of a few years back

We’re all Villains now!

They might, but considering they’ve had a great run of form out of the gate and City are still in contention, I think people (admittedly myself included) went a bit early on Arsenal.

So City lose today as well, we win, and its back to 8 points behind the leaders with 23 games to play…

Crisis yes…season done…no

Unless we lose of course, then, fuck them all off in January and play he U23s

Would you believe me if I told you that exactly the same thing occurred to me while watching the last fifteen minutes of the match?! :joy:

I mentioned in my previous post how I was envious of Arsenal (and I felt and still feel bad about it) but the defeat doesn’t change it, especially as they played without their first choice centre backs - there were a few passages of “play” where both teams scrapped for the ball with all they had. Arsenal’s centre back wrestling with Villa’s forwards, literally jumping on their shoulders to head the ball away, Villa’s players tracking back in unison, tackling flying everywhere… And you had proper, attacking football in between. I wonder where that spark has been lost with our lads. I don’t remember our lads reacting that quickly to lost possession or to second balls this season.

No one looks particularly good.

I think that is it…that spark, we look like football is the last thing on our minds.

Still hung up ( undertsandably ) from Jota’s death…has to be, signings aside, thats the only fundamental change from last season.

Lost our love for football, and the bad results are only compounding that issue
