Sounds like terrible business by us. We should have insisted on a sale to Dortmund etc or kept him. Basically just get back an older, unplayed, less valuable and unhappy/want away player for fuck all upside.

Seems a continuation of last season with a few teams swapped.
Effectively if something had clicked after our start we’d probably again be out of sight. The difference is just we are missing from the top.

Chukwueze is looking like a good skillful player.
Both those 1st half goals were brilliantly worked against set defences and are the type of goals we are completely incapable of scoring as we pass it sideways and backwards in front of the defence.
Do we even practice this stuff in training? Fucking depressing to see other teams do it easily.

Emery’s Villa actually starting to play football out from the back, which also results in some mistakes like we saw against us, but Pep complimented Unai for adding a new layer to Villa’s game. One of the most compact sides in the league, basically playing without wingers.

I expect a lot of the arsenal SM fans to slate Odengard for his relatively muted reaction for not showing enough fight. They oddly really dont like him.
