Premier League 2025/26

When he is retired, Gordon thinking back on his career, will suddenly realise the reason 90% of LFC fans don’t want him playing for us, besides being an ex-blueshite, is because of the way he throws himself about the pitch, and flopping like some rag-doll…

With the lineups for the 3pm games announced the only real change is I’m now forecasting a Brighton win at 41.29% and 1-1 as the most likely scoreline.

Also he’s just not good enough

The McCoist logic is baffling Newcastle have been the better team so there CB is man of the match.

Is it? Finished 0-0 so certainly won’t be any forwards getting it, neither keeper had much to do so rules them out and Newcastle kept Watkins quiet. Any of Newcastle’s back 4 seems a reasonable choice.

With Isak in their side, Sandcastle would have probably picked up 3points :0)

He said for 2 lovely cross field passes.

Apparently West Ham have got a bloke called El Hadj Diouf!

MOTD are going to have fun making a programme from this

Tottenham 1-0 Burnley

That’s that. Not much to write home about with only Richarlison’s goal the difference.

Brighton 0-0 Fulham

The referee blew his whistle to start the game, then not much happened for 45 minutes and then he blew it again for half-time.

Sunderland 0-0 West Ham

No goals but an entertaining half as Premier League football returns to Sunderland.

In the first half, Dúbravka did hold on to the ball for over eight seconds, gifting Spurs a corner. So there’s that.

I’m watching the Spurs game. The way the commentators are fawning over them, they’ve won the league already.

West Ham are probably shit anyway…but today is somewhat understandable. Packed to the rafters Stadium of Light boisterous crowd…plus Opening Day jitters…would affect most traveling sides.

Still…they have dominated time of possession and shots.

Welcome to the Prem Burnley.

& Sunderland! How bout it.

“…with everything that is going on”

My god, please tell me the Isak thing isnt a smokescreen for getting Gordon and he sees himself as playing in red next week :see_no_evil_monkey:

I hope Lijnders has a massive influence on this City team.

I am genuinely unsure what direction you’re going with that

Seeing Kolo on the sideline as well, Lee Dixon just told the story about how on his first day on trial at Arsenal he wiped Wenger out with a sliding tackle. Ive heard the story loads of times but I roar laughing every time I hear it

Pretty good opening 20 from a Wolves perspective. Sa hasn’t had anything to do.

This maybe the weakest City side I’ve seen in the baldy fraudy’s time there.

Good to see Ki-Jana back in the Prem.

They’re getting close here Wolves.
