Looks like I will be in Dublin for the Newcastle match. I may need pub recommendations.
Great⌠Monday night thatâs always a shit outcome.
Bank Holiday isnât it.
Thatâs at least good about Arsenal mind as I am travelling on the Saturday.
One way around the Saturday 3pm blackout laws, I suppose
Yeah I do think the next Football League deal will finish that off for good.
Itâs already silly that there is a blanket ban on TV coverage for say Bundesliga yet La Liga TV can be accessed for the game at 3.15pm.
All games not at 3pm on a Saturday will be live from this season mind so you wonât have the silly Sunday afternoon scenario where there is 4 games and tv companies are only showing Wolves V Burnley.
Spurs apparently close to signing Gibbs-White. Assume City have cooled their interest, smart signing nonetheless.
Its a very good signing I think, but big shame for Forest to lose both him and Elanga, both of whom I thought were excellent last season.
The Elanga offer was probably too good to turn down, I assume MGW has a release clause for CL clubs or something as youâd think theyâd fight tooth and nail to keep him. Will be interesting to see how they replace both anyway, the defence remains in tact so at least they still have that solid base to work from.
How good would 9 points from the first three PL games be eh..!
Got a sneaky suspicion, AS is not one to mess about hereâŚ
He will get us off to a really good campaign this season.
Our Monday record is atrocious though.
Arsenal play Utd the first week. Imagine them losing to us to close out Aug with 1 point and Arteta getting the hook before school was back
Mine too.
Forest very unhappy with Spurs conduct re MGW. Something about a confidentiality agreement in the release clause.
Some argue Lyonâs financial troubles started before Textor arrived, but both Lyonâs sanctions (currently averted on appeal) and Palaceâs loss of Europe are down directly to the actions he took, or failed to take, as owner. I wonder if there is potential for either or both clubs to sue.
Textor: âWe did everything possible to comply with the rulesââŚexcept follow the rules and comply by the clearly stated deadlines for consideration for the upcoming season.
I dont see why Palace would be intimidated by the Europa League. I think the Prem is strong enough that any entrant from the league would fancy themselves for a deep run in the competition.
Palace would win the europa. Fucking spurs and United made it to the finals.
Hello,
my name is âJohnnyâ. I am from Germany and a sympathizer from LFC. Not a fan, only sympathizer. I am a fan from Hamburger SV. My favourite player at LFC are Virgil. I do have two Liverpool FC jerseys with the name of the Dutch wall.
For me, Liverpool FC are the coolest club on the world and I do be happy that âRedsâ have do sign Florian Wirtz. For my compatriot are better to do make the step to Englands Premier League instead the stay at domestic Bundesliga. He will make a âworld careerâ during his time at Liverpool FC and on my oponion it is better for Germanys national team.
To the topic:
Crystal Palace unfortunately relegated to Conference League, but better than disqualification from European competetions.
I was thinking the same thing.
Doubt they would get past the Q/F in the Euorpa League, but in Conference League they would be a strong contender to win it. Another trophy, and quaranteed spot in the Europa League for 26/27 would put them i9n a strong position for the few years
Probably still gutted to not face some names.
As for Forest I do hope they go out first round and they all get shits. They arenât a nice club.
Their club is good.
The owner is a piece of shit.
Dunno there fans have always been a bit cunty about Hillsborough as well.
Some with very excellent eyesight who saw what they wanted to that day it seems.
