Some Russian fishermen in laying in harbour northern Norway collected 5000 NOK of their pay, gave it to Norwegian fishermen in an envelope and told them to send it to Ukraina for aid. They donā€™t earn much, this is a lot of money for them. They earn their pay in rublesā€¦
5000 nok is approx 500 sterling. For many of us on the forum, it is a moderate sum. For them it is a very large sum of money. I find it some what heartbreaking.

If Russia has 1.3 million troops they havenā€™t enough to occupy Ukraine. Take it yes however after taking a hostile state and population you have to occupy it and the numbers donā€™t add up. Thatā€™s if what Paul D. Miller is true.

Misleading for it to say Germany had 18M troops. At start of WW2, Germany had 4M, Russia had 1.8M.

Warfare has become far more sophisticated since then. Russia also has a further 2M in reserve.
