And in addition to knowing the target in advance, often those high value targets happen to sit inside a metal box on threads. Those metal boxes are prime candidates for artillery targeting (and of course Bayraktar, but most damage is from arty). So in many instances, those who fire will only know afterwards, from intercepted coms, that a high value target has been struck.

Are these Africans and Syrians who now want to fight for Putin actually aware of how cold it is in Ukraine at the moment?

They send them there, with probably bad equipment to fight at -10°?

If it is true (about generals dying) how is the news getting out?

You would think Russia would keep quiet about it.

Would only be welcomed as cannon fodder by their new found comrades

At least one was killed by a sniper, while trying to fix the logistic mess that stopped the head of that column NW of Kyiv. He was doing it by waving his hands and yelling

Yeah, I heared. That was early and the first general kia though. Major general outside Kharkiv was shelled I believe.

I can only imagine a few battalions of African soldiers would be a hinderance rather than a help.

I’m guessing they’re poorly trained, would have no leadership, have no experience in those temperatures and if the Russians can’t even communicate with each other I don’t see how Syrians and fighters from the CAF will even know where they’re going.

Ukrainian farmers will be circling like vultures around them.

So incredibly obvious. It’s like an attack on a Polish radar station in 1939 ( Gleiwitz incident). Russia has gone full Hitler without the extermination camps.
