I love these incidents because they imply the following thought process;

“It discredits the Russian army!”

“Oh really, why does it?”

“umm…because it’s about authoritarian abuse and oppression”

“Are you telling me that there’s a link between that and the Russian army? Maybe it’s you that are discrediting it?”

“err…and anyway, fuck off! Gulag!”

Exactly. Very much agree.

Worrying:

What does this mean, is it for deployment merely in Ukraine, or is this a signal of expansion of the war?

It’s for Ukraine if true. Points to Russia not giving up but escalating and launching new offensives if the coming one fails.
Putin may be doubling down, unwilling to lose this war; greedy for an eventual military victory.

Looks like the Mockva is limping toward Sebastopol, didn’t sink after all. The DC teams would have had a long night.

Thankfully it obviously wasn’t a critical fire, huh? Just as well other Russian ships have moved away from that part of the Black Sea. Clearly incendiary.

Wouldn’t it be unfortunate if it blew up in port after one of the missile systems got a little too hot?

Shame.

There is speculation that those missiles went over the side.
