Do you think like me this is becoming the key battle for Ukraine in this moment?
They are being very patient and it would appear they are looking to cut the Russian troops on the west bank off.
Of course the Donbass front is ‘more’ important but in that attritional quadmire they risk losing to varying amounts. So a morale boosting win on the west bank and ability to strike at Kherson becomes incresingly important imo.
I can not help but feel sorry for those poor Russian sods who get 'trapped on the west bank mind.
As expected and now Ukraine has the capability to shoot some down. A sort of battle of Britain scenario. Will be interesting to find out if Ukraine manages to down some of these cunts.
This is why Zelensky should appear to be in Kyiv that’s surely where they have the best air defenses.
According to Macron he had opportunities, options and alternatives before starting this shit.
That he’s coming out with this shit soo soon is an indication of the pressures he’s facing and how dire it already is.
Should have thought things through first!
Kremlin mentality is absolutely bizarre. They keep invoking some notion of territorially limited war that should mean Russia proper is off-limits, while fully aware of the atrocities their army has been committing.
In the second world war the UK deployed balloons above London as a way of disrupting V1 and V2 rockets. It was crude but had some limited success.
Is there a way that Ukraine can deploy similar static shields above urban airspace or are long range missiles far too sophisticated for such crude defences now?
