I mean, Israelis have such a bad reputation that now that I tried to google for you, i got hits in even Israeli newspapers. They are infamous for stealing and being difficult.

In France the rich Russians are the worst, easily!

I am surprised. I have a friend who works in the hotel bussiness and have worked in hotels around the world. He claims the Israeli reputation is global and the same in all countries he have worked in hotels in.

Anyway, Out of thread.

Grade A cunts.

I digress. I apologize.

We have seen tanks for the Russians be ineffective given the mud and javelins.

Do you think the Ukraine tanks will make much of a difference?

It depends on how you use them I would say. These are probably going to be around targets that needs air defence though. But sure, a tank here and there will suffer from weather conditions.

I don’t think the Russians have a clue about combined arms/small unit tactics. I do think the era of the MBT is over but with correct tactics and screening they can still be very effective. Against a western army they probably wouldn’t, against the Russians. Definitely.

edit thought you were talking about t-72 and possibly Leopard tanks, not the mobile anti air units.

Yeah, like Woofers say, this is hardly a tank:

Well, what can I say, its ridiculous.

I heard meanwhile that Brazil might sent the Ammo for the Gepard.

Edit

I found it and yes, Brazil has indeed agreed to sent the Ammo

"The decision was made on Monday. It was the companies themselves who initially offered to give the Gepard to Ukraine. The authorities delayed because there was no ammunition for the facilities, but now they have found it from the allied countries, including Brazil. The country used the system in 2014 to secure the football championship. "

why would the Swiss manufacture weapons?

basically anyone using them will compromise thier nuetrality. odd.

Well, it’s a subsidiary of a German company who only produces the Ammo in Switzerland, not the weapons.
It is what it is, ridiculous.

Nice memories I see… :+1: As said earlier, I know some too. Lovely people, respectful, sympathetic. Nothing to hate about them. They’ve become friends.

I think that the biggest danger in time of war is to reduce a whole country to stereotypes. Of course there are dickheads, but not only. Prejudice can easily make fools out of us.

Typical Swiss idiocy. We have a minuscule armament industry and could very easily do without. We wouldn’t even feel it if it was closed down. But in order to preserve that peculiar branch of our economy, our wise leaders came out with a rule that we can sell weapons to other countries, but only to those who aren’t at war.

So, I let you imagine… we have now Swiss weapons in use in Yemen for instance (Qatar and the Saudis bought that weaponry before the war) and of course, there are always sordid situations arising, like some countries using our weapons to crush rebels in civil wars, in Africa or elsewhere. Aaah, but they aren’t technically at war, you see…

Of course, Swiss weapons have also been found in Syria, among jihadists who were fighting there. They surely became these weapons from the Saudis.

It’s an old story, but still idiotic enough. If you are against war, are neutral and promote a policy of peace and understanding between people, you don’t produce weapons in order to sell them abroad. Because they will be used sooner or later.

Absolutely.

It was really amusing. Travelling through the whole country showing them interesting places, caves, lakes, top class restaurants, museums, churches, sea side resorts when in fact they just wanted to get wasted.

But the Russians say it is not a war, surely the rule doesn’t apply to special operations?

Maybe because of this…

The UK ones work even with the Boris factor.
