Russian War Crimes (Part 1)

This is the third report I have seen of the Chechen bastard killed. So then I am posting it. I am always wary, I tend to wait a bit before I post such stuff. But several seem to be reporting it, even though I have not seen a picture of his corpse yet:

Footage from yesterday’s fighting at Kherson front:

It’s starting to feel the tide is turning a bit.

Perhaps that’s misplaced optimism. But the outcome no longer seems inevitable. Ukraine despite falling back is holding its own.

Today Russia is pushing much harder though. But we’ll see. I am very careful with my optimism knowing they have plenty of more BTG’s to deploy as well as Belarus troops reported going in next week. I think they will bleed the Russians badly, far, far more than Russia has planned for; but I think the outcome is hard to change. Unless there is an uprising in Russia, or unless there is a coup in Kreml. Or unless Putin feels pressured to negotiate and freeze gains due to heavy losses. I am not an oracle, but I advice caution with optimism. Russia has a lot of additional gears they can use, if they start caring less about civilian casualties. Remember, so far we have not seen extensive urban shelling at all.

But make no mistake, there is a near consensus in Russia, is that Putin has made a gargantuan mistake. This is truly unpopular with large parts of the population, and also with a lot of ex-soviet officers. Ukraine is family to them. This war feels very bad for many usual hard-nosed Russians.

That will work against them even more, I feel. I’m willing the Ukrainians to hold on. There aren’t going to be foreign troops helping them fight but if they can hold on until significant foreign military equipment aid can reach them an be distributed then maybe, just maybe they can bleed the Russians enough for them to think its not worth it. It’s going to take a horrific toll in human lives on the side of Ukraine as well but as we’ve seen, it’s a willing populace to pay the price for their homes.

So that one video of Ukrainian soldiers beating a russian soldier and demands he says “glory to Ukraine” goes without comment about how Ukraine is now breaking the Geneva convention?

I posted it. It’s enough of a commentary for me. I don’t hide it.
Also, if you think Russians are nice to POVs then you are not paying attention.
