Yeah sorry I meant in the general press that nothing of note is being mentioned
I don’t particularly care. I have seen Russians shot prisoners on camera in Donbas. He just was roughed up a bit.
That why I find the posts of tiktok and Twitter a better source than 99% of the MSM bs because it’s not a controlled narrative but real people tending to post
As long as you filter out the bullshit and disinfo.
I dunno, if someone invades your country wouldn’t you reserve the right to treat them any way you like?
Emotions are certainly high. Which is pretty understandable. They won’t shoot him though.
Hehe I posted it. So we have it:
Now we are seeing more and more of this
Shelling of urban areas:
If they beat the shit out of him then they should be held to account for it but they don’t seem to actually beat him, they are just pulling the “stars” of his shoulders from what i can see in the short clip above.
Claims that the invasion of Odessa is going very poorly with the paradrop:
This source is sometimes suspect though. Needs corroboration.
Yes I agree Russia should win, but i suspect if Ukraine holds out another week, it shifts towards a war of attrition/ guerilla warfare.
Lots has been spoken about the fear of Russian hybrid warfare. But I think in this instance they have clearly lost the information war. From snake island, to that young soldier blowing up the bridge, to sunflower seed woman. The sacrifices, bravery has been inspirational.
I find it difficult imagining Russia occupying Ukraine for any length of time. The population taking up arms, this could be very bloody for years to come.
Kharkov assault under way:
Do you honestly think at this moment in time, the people of Ukraine give a fuck about the Geneva Convention? Their country has been invaded, their cities and homes are being destroyed, they are fighting for their very existence and you’re worried about a Russian soldier being slapped?
It’s hard to see an out for Russia, even after taking Kiev (if they manage). They’ve hardened the resolve and turned an entire country that probably had some Russian sympathy based on shared past, where i can’t see occupation or pupet government set up succeeding at all. I think Putin managed to fully turn Ukraine into a ‘western’ country that just seemingly handed all Ukrainian citizens an AK. Good luck Russia. What a quagmire this is going to be.
What a hero the president of Ukraine has been.
I agree that this is a catastrophic political miscalculation by Kreml. They didn’t bother to construct a Casus Belli the Russian people believed in, just countless very stupid false flag operations that Russians are cynical enough to see through. So he is struggling, a lot, with legitimacy of his imperialistic war. As in struggling a lot with legitimacy.
A moving snap shot of Ukrainian soldiers sending their wives and children to Poland:
