Not graphic at all, just the chief master sergeant casually smiling they spent a night in a trench sleeping on corpses.

ā€œUkraineā€™s counteroffensive has so far recaptured about 300 square kilometres from Russia, according to the UK Ministry of Defence, double what Kyiv has officially announced.ā€

ā€œUkraineā€™s forces had made ā€œcertain gainsā€ that the general staff had not made public to avoid exposing troops. ā€œSometimes the Russians do not report to their leadership that they have lost a certain area or territory. They are afraid to report further to their superiors.ā€

Russian General Sergei Surovikin arrested after Wagner PMC mutiny, writes The Moscow Times.

Hasnā€™t been seen since June 25th, and there was a whole discussion about USA making public that Surovkin knew about the mutiny, in order to have him neutralized, since heā€™s more competent than the current generals.

All this seems still quite speculative.

SBU reports that they detained a gru agent who has adjusted russian fire at the Kramatorsk cafe. On June 27, he got a task to check if it works & how many visitors are there. He filmed the place & cars parked around, & sent that to russian military intelligence unit

Heā€™s a high ranked officer and thatā€™s his second coup. :joy:

Detained for interrogation. So far he is not arrested (as far as we know), but he might very well be soon (or already in secret). Nitpicking here and I mean aboslutely no disrespect, just noting this since a lot of media is reporting detained to be = arrested. It is not necessarilly the same though. You may say he is being ā€œprocessedā€
I think he will be arrested though, but possible he wonā€™t be since he is regarded as an effective field commander. He may for instance be demoted, depending on how much he actually knew about Prigozhinā€™s plan (and there are rumours he helped him plan the march of justice).

Interesting piece of news in conjunction with the above if true:

Klischiiva should fall within a couple of days, give or take a day, unless reports are very wrong. Half a company of VDV surrendered north of it, and the Russians are hard pressed. Very many positive reports. Also about Berkhivka hills north of Bakhmut.

Also this, which can be considered rumour:

There is a horrifying video of severe Ukrainian combat losses from the 47th Brigate I should probably post, but it was depressing and hard to watch and I canā€™t find it right now anyway. Wonā€™t bother to look for it. But Tarigami wrote a good thread , probably in response to it. If you are interested in seeing a lot Ukrainian troops die horribly in a mixed minefield, laying gasping for breath, dying and wounded, before being killed by artillery later, you can find it. Itā€™s quite ugly. This was another failed UA armoured assault with Bradleys etc. They had cleared the mine field they thougth, but over night the Russians had mined it with artillery and the UA drove into a minefield ambush and itā€™s just very bad. You see wounded people on top a damaged Bradley, some wounded soldiers milling about, stepping on land mines, having their legs blown off and etc. Itā€™s not nice. After they get shelled by a large arty strike.

You donā€™t really miss anything at all not watching it. The only reason for posting would be to counter possible Hallelujah thoughts and moods, since a lot of reporting is one sided and one can easiley get a bit skewed perception at times if one doesnā€™t look also at pro Russian sources. But you can find the video uncensorded both on youtube and twiter if you want.

Itā€™s reported from RU MoD sources that from now on , Wagner is banned from participating in the SMO.

However, in reality, RU will seek to strip them of all heavy equipment and persuade/force most of them to sign contracts with the MoD. But Wagner is supposedly finished in Ukraine for good (but who the fuck knows, it is Russia).

I saw it and didnā€™t feel the need to share it for the reasons you mention.

Weā€™ve seen the first person shooter style video from the trenches, but this type of scene, you rarely see in video games.

War is always shitty and sad.

About time too. Why they still feel the need to do this little dance before finally relenting is baffling.

Planes next.
