And here’s a Russian payback:
Precision missile on a crowded supermarket, because Russian priorities are Russian priorities.
Oh no! I hope nothing was destroyed on the runways when that ammo depot blew up last night.

Paging Ukrainian farmers, want some free loot?
Quite, quite interesting report by the BBC:

Oh, they were trying to get out of encirclement when prudence is to surrender. Ok.

I suppose if the garrison is trying to get out, Sudzha will fall asap.
I don’t know where this is from, but from the kursk region today:

Ukrainian forces in control of Sudzha !

Rumours from well regarded Ukrainian accounts that parts of the garrison tried to get out from encirclement and that minimum 6 vehicles was destroyed by Ukrainian artillery. Rumours because there is no video yet. But several regarded sources claims so.
Is Sudzha important logistically?
It’s important in that it is a larger settlement with 6000 people, a small town, which was garrisoned by 2 (probably not full strenght) Russian batallions, that Ukraine had to drive around and surround instead of taking on head on.
Also, administrative regional HQ of Gazprom. UKR took control of the pipleline hub 3 days ago now. But the town containd the offices and etc.

Hate to see that on an old man, bastards.
Russia is in a dark, dark place.
Well done Ukraine for giving some back on Russian soil.
Any idea where this is all up to? Anywhere near the end? Is a settlement in sight? Or will Ukraine build on their forays into Russia to inflict more pain and embarrassment, to hopefully force some sort of settlement?
I’ve just posted quite extensively on that above. As you can see, a small town has just been secured and there is a very good thread on the movements and attacks of Ukrainian forces.
As to where it will end, no one knows. None of us are even completely certain of the actual true goals, it is educated guessing left and right. The US was not trusted with information about this raid, which turned out to be an invasion, and scrabled as late as yesterday to gain accurate information on Ukrainian intentions. And when the CIA were not sure, then I can’t be either
See here regarding movement of forces and vectors of attacks yesterday,. Ukraine says absolutely nothing in public, so you can only analyse the day’s event the day after and so on:
Oh wow, they’re so hard. They should sign up for the frontlines.
