Just to be clear, this was a Berlin city decision, apparently at 15 designated war memorial areas no flags or politcal symbols were allowed today.
Really, really bad look and decision though.

Apart from that Ukrainian flags in solidarity are everywhere and not just today.

Finland have zero expectation of anyone coming to their aid and have lived with lived with the expectation of having to defend themselves against invasion ever since they kicked off the Russian Yoke during the Russian Revolution. One thing Finland will never be is taken by surprise by a Russian invasion.

Pretty sure that the UK, at least, has reiterated that it would come to Finland’s aid.

What other countries say, whether as part of official treaties or not, doesn’t have to impact their perception of either their threat of invasion or what support they’d get in the event of one.

Sure, and better to assume you’d be on your own but the Joint Expeditionary Force has increased bonds across Northern European countries militarily.
