He was involved in the build up to the Scotland goal. He seems OK so far.
Glasgow/Napoli McTominay appreciation mashup:
Scottish and Irish football is very poor at the moment.
Made the mistake of watching a bit of the Kilmarnock/Rangers game… that’s it for the next couple of years.
The quality is so much poorer than the 80s/90s.
It’s certainty below championship quality and I would say League 1
Unflatteringly for Scottish football, it reminded me of a Sunday league game I was playing in at Riverside/Dundee back in the mid-late 90s. It was a game where there was a gale (which was the norm for most of the games) blowing down the length of the pitch. I think we played a whole half where we couldn’t get past our 18 yard box due to a combination of the wind and the complete “village-ness” of our ability.
My nephew is in Scotland and I asked if he had watched any games. His reply: I’m not crazy.
I used to go to matches fairly often when I was living in Scotland. I went to a Stenhousemuir match just before I emigrated, the refs were sponsored by Specsavers, and the match sponsor was The Samaritans. Kind of sums up Scottish footie.
I went to see some Dundee and Dundee United games back in the day (95-97) and then more recently (2015-16) a couple of Hearts and Hibs games in Edinburgh… I’m not sure the trip up to Tannadice or Dens Park would be worth it but the Edinburgh games may be worth it because, well, its Edinburgh and there are plently of Bars that are well worth a visit before and after the game.
Armchair fans look down nose at other countries league whilst supporting a club that couldn’t care less about them and only care about money. European super league ring any bells
You all just keep lapping up the rubbish fed to you by the channel you all subscribe to that the EPL is the best league in the world.
A) You’ve not read much of this forum.
B) It doesn’t much help that your point ignores my view that League 1 serves up better matches.
What a load of rubbish, sat watching the Glasgow two vs teams with a fraction of their budget will always be rubbish to watch just like it is in any league.
When Celtic’s #6, 31-year old Callum McGregor, is the league’s top goalscorer with 6 goals after 13-15 games or so.
So you admit it’s rubbish?
Games involving either team from Glasgow are rubbish
That would put him joint 9th in the EPL whilst having played two game less than every other player bar one in the top ten.
Yeah because he is playing in a rubbish league as you admit yourself.
I have to say that in all my time living in Scotland, the pizza crunch was the one local delicacy that I couldn’t stomach.
