How did Celtic get a penalty at the final second? Is that really a handball by the Motherwell’s player?

How’s the referee situation in Scotland? Are they as incompetent as the PL one?
They were sponsored by Specsavers for a while, I’ve watched a few games since the turn of the year when Hearts looked like a proper challenge and I’d say they are a bit crap. One good one I’ve seen a few times.

I am very rarely shocked these days but I really can’t see why VAR even asked the ref to go to the screen. His arm is up but it looks like he heads it.
I fear those officials will be haunted by that decision for a long time to come.

It might as well hit both his head and get a touch on his hand. It’s a tight one, but that’s also very clumsy from the defender.
The worse part for me that no one discussed that, the motherwell player was not looking behind him as he was soley focused on the ball, he jumps up using his arms as leverage…the celtic player comes from behind him and jumps up, and his shoulder pushed the motherwells player arm up something that he had no control over .

I have to admit that these scottish crowds are so passionate. Anfield, most of the time, is like a library in comparison.
