Serie A Discussion

Milan derby was a decent match. Leao in particular is starting to add elements to his game, he seems to be seeing the field better than in the past where he was just pace and a couple of moves.

I really think Serie A might be heading into a new era of prosperity. Unlike La Liga and Bundesliga, there are a range of teams that have real title chances, and the style of play has shifted into a more dynamic one than in the past.

Yup it’s worth watching at the moment, I watched a Bundesliga game and though entertaining it came across a bit like MLS with better quality.

Anyone know much about Brandon Soppy?

Watching Monza v Atalanta, he came on at HT and totally changed the game…think he’s naturally a RB but playing LB, looks a talented kid.

Juve are a bit shit aren’t they?

2-0 down now at home to…Salernitana…Bremer clear handball, Piatek buries it.

Allegri will be sacked soon.

They had well known issues by not being able to fill Delle Alpi… but dear me, they struggle even with this little box of a 40k stadium.

Trailing and it’s half empty.

Pen last min for Juve.

Alex Sandro dive…Bonucci taking over Vlahovic.

Saved but Bonucci buries the rebound lol…banging finish on his weaker foot tbf.

Crazy scenes in stoppage time, Saler have big chance to go 3-2 then Juve have big chance to go 3-2…resulting corner Milik superb header.

3-2 JUVE & Milik sent off for his celebrations.

Harsh as hell on Saler.

VAR? Fighting? What’s going on.

Bonucci in offside from Milik’s header which was going in, attempted at it but for me this goal has to stand…no where near the keepers line of sight.

Jesus me, he’s disallowed it…2 more red cards for Cuadrado and Fazio.

& Allegri hahahahahahha

One of the craziest endings to a game I’ve ever seen.

Sad to see such a great stadium be half empty for a club like Juve.

It’s not even because it’s Salternitana, the fans hate their football.

The Italian equivalent of Barcelona, hope they burn in football hell.

And people moan about VAR robbing the game on drama and passion that was drama and passion and being Juve absolute comedy.

Its also why I felt I jinxed Carvalho’s late winner as I celebrated

Apparently the VAR review of the winner missed this defender

It’s a shambles which needs getting rid of.

All this 97% of decisions correct which they say it gets right is bollocks, and ok it was used in the same game to award the pen to Salternitana (correctly) but in another game saw an awful decision when it awarded a pen to Werder against Augsburg. Another game between Freiburg and someone, goal was called off by VAR (correctly) after a 15 second review.

Seems pretty hit and miss in Europe & in England it’s just a farce.

Only time it’s been used properly was during the trial at the World Cup, so what’s changed?

If this offside var works in Europe it’s probably where it should stop and the rest is taken back bar red cards. Leave pens up to the on pitch officials same goes for fouls in build up. That’s all subjective anyhow.

Juve were quite pragmatic when they built it and chose the size, evidently not pragmatic enough.

That red (pink?) and blue kit is terrible.

Worse. They are fucking cheats. Multiple times. That’s worse than anything United, City, Chelsea, Madrid, Barca have done. The relegation was too light. They should have been permanently banned

A.C Milan are looking to replace Divock Origi already. [

Well he is the “worst” signing ever.

He’ll soon drop to a Wolfsburg of this world, perhaps something a little bit better, depending on circumstances (maybe an Eintracht or something, where he would have partners up top). It’s where he belongs realistically.

Although I do wish him well and always will, it’s always nice to see an Italian club financially suffering after dealing with us one way or another.
