Fowler, Owen, Hunt and St John…all great strikers, but quite often helped out in mid or defence…
The way we play or are aiming to play looks like we need runners and all round team players…

Well Rush was an all round player and did all the things that @Wilkored08 claims Haaland doesn’t do. Sometimes you just need a super poacher though if you have all the other bases already covered.

I agree with this.
Said all along I didn’t really care what their punishment was when found guilty, which they inevitably would be, just the fact they were found guilty would render all their cups and medals totally fucking meaningless. And it has done. Your De Bruynes, Fodens, Ya Ya’s and Vincent fucking Kompany might as well get their medals melted down and made into fucking doorknobs or something. What a fucking wasted career.
However, taking the titles away would be long-lasting and that’s important. Kids in 50 years time will look at lists of PL title winners and see ‘Null and void’ against several seasons and will want to know why. Their cheating will be there for all to see.

The big hitters in our league are Manchester United and Liverpool. City have made inroads, but they aren’t at the same level as those two.

And it makes sense even when applied generally:
You may say well there was a 99% chance we would still have won it in 2018-19. Finishing with 97 points, 3rd placed Chelsea is 72 points? That seems almost a lock.
But when did Chelsea play city,? Did they lose badly to them early in the season and their form dipped because of it? For all the bottom half teams that were smashed by city, how many times did we play them soon after city once their confidence was shattered? Was our incredible form in part because city was our pace setter and we played as if we needed to always stay in touch with them?
Now obviously this is an extreme example as so much would need to go right for another team to have taken top spot over us if city wasnt there… And that’s not even taking into account any points we ourselves dropped to city that year…
We can say we deserved it, especially when breaking 2nd place points records. But there are thousands of alternative timelines branching out from the start of the season if city and their cheating didn’t exist and there’s no threshold to say we deserve to claim a title because we were 2 points behind and not for example Arsenal in another season because they were 10 points behind.
Strip the club of their titles. Don’t redistribute. I don’t even understand what we get out of any claimed titles except a keg party at Klopp’s house.

on a more philosophical note, in a world where lies, deception and corruption seem to be accepted or at least too hard for the masses to bother fighting against, its great to see something like this happening.
they cheated. we know it. they know it. the world knows it. and for once, it doesnt look like just being accepted with a shrug of the shoulders and a ‘what can you do?’ additude
