The first time I learned about Liverpool FC was hearing the commentator saying King Kenny’s name on TV (in my native language). Get well soon!
He wanted to keep it private and posted it publicly by accident. Hence his joke about the treatment was doing better than his phone skills.
The legendary forward and former manager wanted to keep the news private but confirmed the diagnosis after accidentally sharing the news initially in an “inadvertent social media post”.
“I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer,” Dalglish, 75, wrote on social media. "Unlike my mobile phone use, the treatment is going well.
"Ideally, this would have remained private because that’s the way it should be, but my useless technology skills have forced my hand.
Just pray it’s one of the less aggressive , more treatable ones.

really sad news to hear about a very exceptionally special human being. Wish him well and hope he doesn’t suffer very serious pains
