Summer 2024 Transfer Window

Martin Braithwaite from Espanyol to Gremio on a free.
Caleb Wiley from Atlanta to Chelsea for €10.1m.
Amadou Onana from Everton to Villa for €59.3m.
Hugo Novoa from RB Leipzig to Alaves for €1.5m.
Mattia Viti from Nice to Empoli on loan.
Benie Traore from Sheffield United to Basel for €4.5m.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham to Marseille on loan.

Trevoh Chalobah has been left out of Chelsea’s pre-season tour (they probably ran out of room on the 737 to fit all the players).

I think that would be a really, really good signing for Crystal Palace. Especially if they can keep Guehi.

A backline of Chalobah-Andersen-Guehi-Mitchell is really solid.

Muñoz thrown in there as well to make a back 5.

For CP, I’m just interested in seeing if that purple patch for Mateta was real or not. If he keeps up the form from the last 15 games, Palace could finish between 7-10, even without Olise.

When you put it that way, it really is. Andersen is an underrated centre back, he reminds me a bit of Brede Hangeland in that aspect - though unlike Hangeland, I think he should be playing in a team that is better than the likes of Crystal Palace or Fulham.

Well here’s a player that we were linked with who we’ll probably sign from Bournemouth two years from now for about 60 million. Is that how it works Yozzer?

That’s not really fair. His hamstrings are made of cobwebs. He’s otherwise very good. Seems like a nice lad, too.

I dunno if it’s true, but with Fulham bringing in Sess, are we the only PL club which has purchased zero players this window?

I’m Team Stick, but I thought I’d throw that out there for Team Twist.
